Our church was founded in 1864 by a group of dedicated Christians who wanted to create a welcoming space for all people. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant community that serves our members and our city.

We offer a variety of ministries and programs for all ages, including youth groups, Bible studies, and outreach programs. Our ministries are designed to help our members grow in their faith and serve others in our community.

Reverend Dr. Bernard Reaves is the Senior Pastor of Zion Baptist Church and Executive Director of The Counseling Place in Alexandria, Virginia. Under his visionary leadership, he is passionate about discipling the local community and expanding local and global mission efforts.
