Christian Education Ministries
Christian Education– Zion is committed to teaching and applying the word of God. Zion offers studies opportunities on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and Church School on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. The Bible urges us to “hide the word of God in our hearts.” The hour-long sessions provide an interactive opportunity for growth and development.
Worship & Arts Ministry– The Worship & Arts Ministry is committed to establishing a worship culture that is conducive for the spirit of the Lord to inhabit and commune with his bride, the church. Through singing, instrumentation, dance and interpretation we create a perpetual atmosphere of prayer, praise and worship; fostering and cultivating the believer’s relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ministry participants holistically serve God and His people, which they believe is their reasonable act of service. You are invited to join these ministries in giving God perfected praise and glory in the spirit of excellence
Men & Women Ministries
Men – Our Men’s Ministry is committed to helping men understand they were created in God’s image for a purpose: to embrace and walk in God’s will for their lives; and to strive for Godly holiness. The Ministry is focused on helping brothers learn what it means to love as Christ loved, to grow in Christ, and to serve as Christ served. Weekly, the Ministry hosts a men’s prayer service. Throughout the month, a variety of practical and relationship building sessions and activities focused on empowering brothers as they follow Christ are hosted as well.
Women – Our Women’s Ministry promotes a healthy emotional, spiritual and physical lifestyle for the Christian Woman. Women are confronted with multiple responsibilities, some of which can hinder emotional, physical and spiritual growth. The ministry seeks to address these challenges, providing progressive steps that allow women to evaluate their position with regard to reflecting God's glory.
Children & Youth Ministries
Young Adult Ministries– Our Young Adult Ministries are geared towards those members of our congregations age 18-35. These ministries exit to offer consistent and diverse ministry activities that promote enhanced discipleship, meaningful fellowship, responsible stewardship, and healthy relationships. Each 4th Sunday is Youth and Young Adult Takeover Sunday at the10:30 worship services.
Our Ministries for Youth – The Youth Ministries of Zion are committed to developing holistic ministry opportunities that put our young people in the best position to succeed in life. This is done by instilling in them an understanding of who God is, godly principles; a strong sense of value and purpose; educational importance; and the tools required to be successful in life.
Children’s Ministry – The Bible urges us to train up a child "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Zion takes this charge seriously – and operates a Children’s Ministry that ministers to the spiritual, intellectual and physical needs of elementary school children. Events and programs are offered to all children and are conducted in a safe, Christian environment where staff and volunteers make meeting the needs of our young people the priority.
