With the support of Professional Counseling Services at
Zion Baptist Church everyone has the capacity to heal!
Mission
It is the mission of Professional Counseling Services to provide pastoral counseling to those of limited income, to develop and maintain programs and services that respond to the ever-changing psychological needs of our multicultural community, and to provide exceptional counsel education within a supportive environment.
Understanding.
We are convinced of God's grace. Professional Counseling Services offers a nurturing environment where it's safe to gather the courage to tell your story and share what you really want to change in your life. The process of change happens from the inside out, not from simplistic solutions. Our counselors are trained to humbly guide you toward new insights that start the process of change and growth.
Commitment
Professional Counseling Services is committed to providing professional, ethical and confidential services by appointment only. We serve the greater Washington DC Metro area, both in Virginia and Maryland. As a non-profit organization, we strive to maintain reasonable and affordable counseling sessions. We do not accept insurance or belong to any insurance network. We respectfully welcome anyone, regardless of faith tradition, who is seeking to create a more effective and purposeful life.
